Mexico Diving Adventure: Explore Cancun, Cozumel & Yucatan

Day 1 — 19 March | Departure from Athens

We meet at Athens International Airport and begin our journey with a flight to Istanbul, followed by our connection to Cancun.

Day 2 — 20 March | Arrival in Cancun & Food Tour

We land in Cancun at 12:45 p.m., meet our local partner, and transfer to our hotel. After check‑in, we dive straight into Mexican culture with a guided Food Tour, tasting authentic local dishes. Evening free for rest or exploring the area.

Day 3 — 21 March | Bull Shark Dive & Transfer to Cozumel

After breakfast, we check out and head for our first diving adventure: a two‑tank Bull Shark Dive — an unforgettable experience. After diving, we travel to Cozumel, where we’ll stay for the next three nights. Evening free for strolling and relaxing.

Day 4 — 22 March | Full‑Day Diving in Cozumel + Night Dive

Today we explore the vibrant reefs of Cozumel — among the most spectacular in the Caribbean. Two daytime dives reveal colorful coral formations and abundant marine life. At sunset, we head back into the water for a night dive, discovering the reef’s nocturnal world.

Day 5 — 23 March | Full‑Day Diving in Cozumel

Another day of diving in Cozumel, this time exploring a different reef system. With a bit of luck, we may encounter the beautiful eagle rays that visit the area during this season.

Day 6 — 24 March | Cenote The Pit & Car Wash + Transfer to Playa del Carmen

We say goodbye to Cozumel and take the ferry to Playa del Carmen. There, we experience two of the region’s most iconic cenotes:

The Pit — dramatic light beams and deep cavern formations
Car Wash — crystal‑clear water and stunning decorations

After diving, we check into our hotel in Playa del Carmen for three nights.

Day 7 — 25 March | Cenotes Angelita & Dream Gate

A full day dedicated to two of the most unique cenotes:

Angelita — famous for its surreal hydrogen sulfide layer
Dream Gate — one of the most decorated cave systems in the peninsula

These dives are magical and unforgettable.

Day 8 — 26 March | Excursion to Chichen Itza

No trip to Yucatán is complete without visiting Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. That’s the day that we will dedicate to visit this amazing site and not only…

Day 9 — 27 March | Departure from Cancun

After breakfast, we transfer to the airport and begin our journey back via Istanbul.

Day 10 — 28 March | Arrival in Athens

We arrive in Athens with our minds and cameras full of memories.

Important Travel Information

Diving level: Minimum Advanced or Deep. Cavern certification is not required for cenotes but is beneficial.
Weather & Climate in March: 27–30°C, low rainfall, sea 26–28°C.
Diving conditions: Excellent visibility, ideal conditions.
Clothing: Light clothing, reef‑safe sunscreen.
Culture: Friendly locals, excellent cuisine, avoid tap water.
Entry requirements: Passport valid for at least 6 months after travel. No visa required for Greek citizens.
